Mariellen Theaker

President/Treasurer of T&W Employer Services, Inc. Mariellen has extensive experience in unemployment and workers’ compensation management. She developed the company of T&W Employer Services, Inc. with her partner Kathy Waites in 1994. She has served as Corporate Manager with a prior service company and worked in Ohio and Pennsylvania. She currently is the manager of our State Fund and Retrospective Public and Private workers’ compensation clients. She has developed training seminars and assists in the overall management of workers’ compensation services. She has a background of Human Resources, having worked in manufacturing and hotel management, assisting in the personnel functions of insurance benefits and workers’ and unemployment compensation.

Kathy Waites

Vice President/Secretary of T&W Employer Services, Inc. received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with a major in Human Resources from the Ohio State University. Kathy is co-founder of T&W Employer Services, Inc. Her background includes working in Human Resources and over-seeing claims administration in many states with a large retail operation. Kathy served as the Assistant Manager of unemployment services with another service company. She is currently the Unemployment Manager of T&W Employer Services, Inc. and demonstrates her leadership qualities and expertise in all aspects of unemployment management.

Laurie Mayle

Employer Representative with T&W Employer Services. Laurie received her Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Franklin University. Laurie has experience in the Human Resources working for a mid-sized public entity. Her experience includes preparation of contract negotiations and main table contract negotiations, serving as an advocate in arbitration cases, mediation experience, management representative on labor/management committees as well as health and safety committees and Joint Health Care Committee, facilitator, investigation experience, pre-disciplinary meeting officer experience, policy development and implementation, strategic planning, and contract interpretation. Laurie joined the T&W staff assisting in all aspects of workers’ and unemployment compensation for T&W. Her diverse background had made her a valued staff member. Laurie is available as a Consultant to provide additional services for Policy Review, Job Descriptions, Contract Negotiations, Grievance and Mediation Processes. T&W EMPLOYER SERVICES, INC. has part time staff who are readily available to help assist in meeting specific demands of our clients, as well as other assigned tasks. They participate in wage record auditing and data entry processing for our non-profit religious entities quarterly reporting to ODJFS.
